Copy of St Mark's Bromley - Visioning Event email
Dear All,
You are receiving this email, because you kindly provided us with your email address and gave us consent to store this information and to use it to contact you with news of St Mark's in Bromley.
I apologise in advance to those of you who have been in church over the last few weeks and will therefore already be aware that our Vicar; Revd Canon Victoria Pask, will be leaving us in September to take up the newly created role of Associate Archdeacon for Bromley and Bexley Archdeaconry.
We are all delighted for Victoria, but it is now the Parochial Church Council's (PCC's) responsibility, with the support of The Venerable Allie Kerr, the Archdeacon for Bromley and Bexley, to set about recruiting a new vicar for St Mark's.
The first and one of the most important steps in this process will be a visioning event, hosted and facilitated by Allie Kerr and open to all members of the congregation at St Mark's.
The event will take place on Sunday 18th August 2024 at approximately 11am, after the 10am Parish Eucharist. It will last for approximately two hours and refreshments, including a sandwich lunch will be provided.
I am writing to ask if you are able to join us for this event, to have your say about the future leadership of St Mark's. If so, to give us an idea of numbers, would you please let me know that you are intending to come along, by replying to this email.
Please also note that Allie, our Archdeacon will be preaching at the service prior to the visioning event, so why not join us for the service too?
Many thanks
Kind regards
Ruth
