Wednesday Friendship Group
The Friendship Lunch Group meets in the Church Room, usually on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month (with the exception of Christmas, Easter and in August). The sessions last from 12.30 – 2.00pm.
These are informal, relaxed and interesting gatherings, with helpful talks and a variety of entertaining activities. Recent meetings have covered topics including avoiding scams, the lives of historical figures from Bromley and South London. There has also been a concert with local musicians, as well as quizzes and readings.
Everyone brings their own packed lunches, and hot drinks, biscuits and cakes are supplied by the church. To meet our running costs a small donation is requested from our member once every term of six sessions.
The St. Mark’s Friendship Lunch Group offers an open environment with a warm welcome for anyone seeking company and friendship during these lunchtimes.
